It was a sight to behold on Tuesday as the outgoing governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, surprised the people of the state as he read the eight pm news of the state-owned television station OGTV.
The governor read the news together with OGTV newscaster Kemi Ewedairo Yusuph.
Amosun dressed in agbada attire and his signature long cap presented the news on the last day of his eight-year reign in Ogun, to say thank you the people for the cooperation given to his administration.

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that the outgoing governor claimed that he inherited failure in Ogun state.
Amosun said that the state he took over had nothing to be desired in terms of economy, infrastructure and security, all of which affected investments.
Speaking through the secretary to the state government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, he said that the governor-elect, Dapo Abiodun, will inherit a vibrant economy, The Cable reports.
The outgoing governor also listed some of his achievements during his administration as increase in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the state and the ease of transacting business in the state.
