Iker Casillas was reduced to tears when his teammate paid a heart-warming tribute to him during the Portuguese Cup final over the weekend.
Tiquinho Soares celebrated his goal by holding up Casillas' shirt - just four weeks after he suffered a heart attack.
The 28-year-old found the back net as Porto coach Sergio Conceicao picked Casillas' shirt up and threw it on to his players celebrating on the pitch.
The Brazilian striker then lifted it up before laying it on the ground - as Casillas' was seen on camera moved in the stands.
The Spanish legend is seen burying his face in his hands and sobbing, with his friends patting him on the back.
Casillas, 38, has undoubtedly played the last match of his career after suffering cardiac arrest he in training earlier in the month.
Leading Spanish cardiologist Juan Antonio Corbalan, who also played professional basketball for Real Madrid, said: “You cannot play football with coronary stent, least of all as a goalkeeper.
"Iker will end up living a normal life but he will not play professional sport.”

Porto lost the cup after a penalty shoot-out in a cracking game against Sporting Lisbon at the National Stadium.
Sporting equalized through a Danilo Pereira's own goal and took the lead in extra time through Dutch striker Bas Dost.
But Porto leveled the score in the last minute of extra time through defender Felipe Monterio as the match went into penalties - only to lose the shoot-out 5-4.
Soares posted a message on social media following the game that read: "Unfortunately we didn’t manage to achieve our objective.
"We really wanted this cup! And give a gift to our friend @ikercasillas and our fans."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the wife of iconic Spanish goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, has announced she is fighting ovarian cancer.
