President Muhammadu Buhari is set to participate in a special interview which will be aired on the Nigerian Television Authority.
According to a statement issued by Femi Adesina who is the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, the interview will air at 10pm on Monday, May 27.
He said: “All television stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to this broadcast.”
This is coming few days before the president's inauguration. Buhari will be inaugurated for a second term on Wednesday, May 29.
Legit.ng earlier reported that President Buhari is holding an important closed-door meeting with northern governors over the insecurity in the region.
The meeting started around 12:30pm at the council chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
As at the time the meeting started, the governors in attendance are: Kashim Shettima of Borno, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, Aminu Bello Masari of Katisna, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara.
