Barcelona President Jose Maria Bartomeu has called for a crisis meeting with boss Ernesto Valverde who could lose his job after Copa del Rey defeat.
La Blaugrana lost 2-1 in their Copa del Rey final match against Valencia which ended their season on a low after Champions League humiliation at Liverpool.
Despite retaining La Liga title under Valverde with a few games left, Barcelona had a disastrous end to the 2018-19 campaign.
But the 2-1 cup final loss against the Valencia may well be the final straw for Valverde who could be sacked in the coming days.
Valverde's men were miraculously knocked out of the Champions League semi finals by Liverpool despite holding a 3-0 first leg advantage.
The Catalan giants were thrashed 4-0 at Anfield as their quest for a European title ended in disgrace.

Earlier this month, Bartomeu revealed Valverde would stay on, saying: “We’re halfway through a large project. He has a contract and we’re very happy with him.
"Now it’s about how the players recover from the enormous setback [in the Champions League].”
Bartomeu added: “The planning for next season is already underway, and has been for some time.
"Some players have already signed and we’ll keep having talks after the [Copa del Rey] final.
"Valverde said the other day that he has the support of the president and the board. He’s the coach we want."
But the Copa del Rey defeat has made Barcelona have a rethink about Valverde's future at the Camp Nou.
