Man caught stealing made to clean gutters as punishment

Social media is currently buzzing with reactions following the news of how a man was caught stealing and rather than hand him over to the police or carry jungle justice, they made him clean their gutters.

Like the popular saying goes; 99 days for the thief, one day for the owner and in this unfortunate thief's case, the owner's day is one he will definitely not forget in a hurry as many hope it will be life changing for him.

According to a Twitter user who shared photos from the incident, he was caught stealing but rather that met out jungle justice as is usually the case in Nigeria, he was made to clean their gutters.

The post reads: "Instead of setting him ablaze with a tyre around his neck, residents gave this petty thief a shovel to clean up gutters as his punishment stealing. They even bought him pure water o, lol."
