Armed men abduct filmmaker along Jos-Kaduna road, demand N10m ransom

Filmmaker and media practitioner, Salisu Muazu, has reportedly been captured by armed men who are demanding N10 million for his release.

According to reports, the victim was captured along Kaduna-Jos road where his younger brother barely escaped with his life.

Speaking to NAN on May 24, the victim’s brother, Sani, revealed that the incident occurred as they journeyed through Kaduna-Jos road. He stated that himself and his brother were attacked alongside two other individuals whom they were giving a lift.

Mauza shared that they were first robbed before he managed to escape but his brother and the two individuals whom they were helping got captured.

It was gathered that the kidnappers have made contact with the family and are demanding a ransom of N10 million.

Sani has pleaded with Nigerians to pray for the safe return of his brother.

Meanwhile, a pastor in Anambra, Samuel Emeka, has been arrested by the police for allegedly kidnapping an 11-year-old boy, Awkuzu, Oyi.

The police confirmed that the arrest was carried out in the Awkuzu, Oyi local government area of the state. The police also reported that after the arrest, the victim was rescued and returned to his mother in good condition.
