Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign Ajax sensation David Neres, according to reports.
The Brazilian international who will be making his tournament debut for is native country has also been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea.
Neres posted unbelieveable performances this season for Ajax both on the domestic scene and continental stages.
The 22-year-old has caught the attention of top Premier League sides and according to reports, AS claim Atletico Madrid have also joined the race for Neres.
Diego Simeone is looking to bolster his squad in the summer as the likes of Lucas Hernandez, Diego Godin and Antoine Griezmann have all left the club.

Now Atletico have made Neres their No 1 target but they will have to cough-out a hefty price following his fine form for Ajax this season.
He was invited into Samba Boys squad by Tite for Copa Ameria torunament in Colombia in June following his 12 goals and 15 assists in 50 appearances for Ajax this year.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde has admitted that La Liga champions have commenced discussions with Atletico Madrid over a possible move for French forward Antoine Griezmann this summer.
According to The Mirror, Griezmann has already told Atletico chiefs he will be heading for the exit doors this summer, with a reported release clause of about £105m set to kick in from July 1.
