President Muhammadu Buhari has directed all outgoing ministers to handover their portfolios by May 28.
He gave the directive during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) valedictory session at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday, May 22.
He said that the valedictory FEC meeting was the last for the outgoing cabinet before the inauguration of his second term on May 29. He added that they should continue working in their capacity till Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Handover notes, he said, should be submitted to the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha.
All the 31 ministers in the council chamber took turns to thank the president for finding them worthy of appointment in the past three and half years.
Recall that Legit.ng had reported that President Buhari presided over a valedictory meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
The meeting holding inside the council chamber of State House Presidential Villa, Abuja, began at 11.03am after the arrival of the president into the council chamber.
