Willy Caballero has been rewarded with a year contract by Premier League side Chelsea for their 2019-2020 campaign.
The 37-year-old's present deal expired at the end of the season but the Argentine international will remain at Stamford Bridge for one more season.
Caballero made just two appearances each in the Premier League, FA Cup matches and the Carabao Cup this season for the London outfit.
He was denied an appearance in the League Cup final against Manchester City by Blues' number one Kepa Arrizzabalaga when the game was heading into penalties.

The Spaniard refused to be substituted after he signaled to the bench he could continue, thinking Caballero wanted to come in because of the injury he sustained during the match.
Caballero was a member of the Argentine squad that played at the 2018 World Cup last summer in Russia but he only made two appearances after making a blunder against Croatia in their second game.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has signed a new one year contract with his Premier League side until the summer of 2020.
The 32-year-old was instrumental to the Blues success in the Europa League this campaign after scoring 10 goals from 13 appearances in the competition.
