President Muhammad Buhari has reportedly approved the appointment of Captain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu as the new managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
According to Leadership, Captain Yadudu is to take over from the erstwhile managing director, Engr. Saleh Dunoma.
Legit.ng gathers that the new appointment was announced in an official statement issued on Monday, May 20, and signed by the deputy director of Press & Public Affairs, Ministry of Transportation (Aviation), James Odaudu.

Captain Yadudu is an ICAO/ACI accredited International Airport professional. Until his new appointment, he was the director of Airport Operations of the Authority.
He also holds professional certifications in Avionics, Airport Safety Management Systems, Airport Security Management, Air Transport Systems Management, amongst others.
His appointment takes immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Arewa Youth Assembly in conjunction with some civil society groups have urged President Buhari to run an all-inclusive government as he begins his second term in office on May 29.
The group made the call in Abuja on Thursday, May 16 to draw the president’s attention to the need to ensure even distribution of appointments in his second term to avoid agitation from any part of the country.
Mohammed Danlami, speaker, Arewa Youth Assembly, who spoke on behalf of others, said balancing of appointments was necessary in every government in the country considering the diverse nature of the nation.
