Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Muhmmadu Buhari who was accused of defaming Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election, has reacted to the allegation brought against her.
Onochie in Facebook post reassured her friends and followers who she said have been calling and texting her over the incident, that she is fine.
"This is to reassure my personal people who have emailed, texted or called to know if I'm fine that truly, I had the most hilarious day yesterday and that I am very fine. I continue to laugh at the clowns who do not know what they are walking into," she said.

The presidential aide had in a Twitter post alleged that the presidential candidate of the PDP is on the watch list of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In reaction, Legit.ng reported that Atiku asked her to tender an apology and requested N500 million for defamation.
In a letter dated Tuesday, May 14 and addressed to Onochie by Mike Ozekhome (SAN), his lawyer, Atiku threatened to commence a N2 billion suit against her if she did not meet his demands.
