While varsities usually take on other means of carrying out punitive actions on students, it appears there are some Nigerian lecturers who still believe in the older ways.
Currently causing a buzz on social media is a photo that shows a lecturer punishing two students in his class. While most lecturers would rather send students who break the rules, this particular lecturer not only asked them to kneel down, he made them raise their hands up and open their mouths.
Many people reacted to the story, condemning the lecturer for the punishment which most considered demeaning.
