Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has insisted that winning the Copa Del Rey title remains his main focus at the moment.
The Catalans battle Valencia for the cup competition next weekend as they hope to win their second title of the season.
Following their disappointing ouster from the Champions League earlier this month which halted their dream of winning treble in the ongoing season.
Daily Star reports that the tactician admitted that Barca are in contact with outgoing Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann, but said they have no plans to sign him before the final.
The 2018 World Cup winning star scored 21 goals and assisted ten others in all competitions for Diego Simeone's side this campaign but will go without a trophy.
Griezmann has also confirmed his departure from the club through a social media post, after thanking the club fans for all the supports they have given him in the past five years.
"It is true we have already made contacts,” Valverde said. “It is true that contacts are ongoing, but the season isn't over yet.
"We have the Copa del Rey final still to play. We have the chance of winning two titles and we must try to focus on this issue.
"Afterwards we will have time for everything else - we won't say anything new when we are talking about players from other teams.”
"We will see (what happens). He (Griezmann) is a great player. We've always said so.”
Meanwhile, reports coming out of the Nou Camp claims some Barcelona players might not welcome the Frenchman should he seal the move.
It is believed that the team can make do with the number of attackers available at the club, saying there's no need to bring another forward this summer.
Griezmann is also said to be on Manchester City's radar among other top European clubs but Barca are in the fore to land the World Cup winner.

In a video shared on the club's official Twitter account, Griezmann paid an emotional tribute to fans for their support through out his stay at the club.
The France international was linked with a move away from Wanda Metropolitano before last year's World Cup in Russia, but decided to stay back one more season.
