A short statement on Friday morning from Juve declared: "Massimiliano Allegri will not sit on the bench of Juventus in the next season 2019/2020."
"The coach and the President, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at the press conference, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday 18th May, at 2pm in the conference hall of the Allianz Stadium."
Prior to the announcement, Allegri had spoken to his side and team staff in the changing room about his exit.

According to Sport Mediaset, the former AC Milan boss told Juve players: ”Sunday will be [Andrea] Barzagli's last match - and mine too.”
The sad news led to tears from the coach and Barzagli and leaving a number of first-team stars caught unaware.
But, it is understood that applause soon broke out before Cristiano Ronaldo told teammates: "Sunday, we play for him".
Ronaldo and Allegri have enjoyed a good relationship during their season together, following the Portuguese superstar's mega-money move from Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo's appetite for super cars is insatiable, and now reports have surfaced that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has added yet another master engine to his multi-million garage.
It is understood the Juventus star has purchased the one-of-a-kind Bugatti La Voiture Noire that was first presented at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show.
