It is not right to mourn people who take their own life, we throw them away - Nigerian man says

A tragic news about a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor who took his own life has put Nigerians into unsettled state after it broke.

Legit.ng had reported that the pastor identified as Michael Arowosaiye allegedly took his own life over accommodation problems and wedding cancellation.

Due to this, a Nigerian man had taken to social media to express his thoughts about people who take their own lives. The man identified as, Onyeozi Chiukwunonso Obijiofor Nwolisa, shared his thoughts on Facebook.

According to him, anyone who commits this act should not be mourned or wished a peaceful rest. He stated that they should be thrown into the evil forest instead.

The man claimed that as an Igbo man it is a tradition not to mourn people who take their own lives. He noted that they committed an abomination and a taboo, adding that no one had a right to take their life and put their family in a state of calamity. He also shared a photo of the late pastor.

The man had received support for stating his opinion on mourning people who take their lives.
