A Nigerian man identified as Henri-Paul on Instagram recently shared a post on his page in which he accused some policemen of arresting his brother, a doctor and one other person for attempting to resuscitate someone who committed suicide in Abuja.
The men who were allegedly detained in Galadimawa police station, Abuja, were questioned by Henri-Paul who tried to get the facts of the matter from them. According to the first man who was interviewed, the man who committed suicide was living in his compound. Hence, he was aware of the moment the victim had hung himself.
It was when he tried to rise to the occasion and help the victim that he was nabbed by the police and tagged as a suspect. The second interviewee said that he was coming from a friend's house when he heard screams for help.
Being a doctor, he rushed to the scene and tried to resuscitate the man who had hung himself. After several attempts, it became clear that the individual was dead. According to the doctor, he and others called the police. When they came around, he was arrested alongside two other men.
Following his rapport with the three men, Henri-Paul accused the policemen involved in the case of arresting these men without a valid reason. He also shared series of videos showcasing his interviews with the arrested suspects.
