Alexandre Lacazette's name has bizarrely appeared on Barcelona's website - but it appears to be a glitch
- The Frenchman has been impressive for Arsenal this campaign after reaching the Europa League final
- Lacazette has netted 19 goals in all competitions for the north Londoners this campaign
Alexandre Lacazette has been listed as a Barcelona squad member on the club’s official website in Wednesday, May 15, amid transfer links.
According to UK Sun report, the Frenchman’s name was spotted on the Barcelona official website in the 'Players' section with a £70m valuation on his head.
Indeed, it sounded mysterious to Arsenal fans that the Emirates dwellers will offload with forward, with their Champions League qualification on the line as they battle Chelsea in the Europa final in 14 days’ time.
But it seems there was a technical glitch on Barcelona's website that permits other players from other clubs to appear in the website.
The report noted that every player that have played against Barcelona in the pat is listed on the website.
Interestingly, the flaw sent social media users into meltdown, thinking the La Liga champion have sealed a deal for Arsenal's most effective forward.
A Twitter user @afcevan offered an explanation for the error.
"Anyone worrying about Lacazette being on the Barcelona website, stop.
"They put every player who they play against on there, simply change the 4 digit code and it changes to a different one,” he tweeted.
Another, @afcDW claimed they signed 56-year-old ex-Arsenal defender Steve Bould, who is also on there.

"Looks like they have one for Arsenal defender Steve Bould too, evidently opting for experience by adding the 56-year-old to their back line,” he explained in his tweet.
Interestingly, Lacazette, who has netted 19 times and 13 assists in all competitions for Arsenal is one of the top names linked with a switch to Barcelona this summer.
