Abisola Aiyeola, one of the contestants of Big Brother Nigeria See Gobe 2017, was definitely the life of the house and many were sad to see her not winning the grand prize. After the show, the actress, singer and reality TV star revealed in an interview with Legit TV that she did not attend any university and she explained why.

According to her, she was 'jammed by JAMB' after failing to gain university admission despite writing the exam several times.

She said: “I wrote Jamb and I was jammed… It’s not that I wasn’t passing the exams. It was a problem of not getting funds. I did not have money to pay for certain things. I was even duped when I tried to enter LASU. That pulled me back and all this just made me discouraged. I also tried National Open University (NOUN) and you know it is very easy to get into NOUN, and at certain times you needed to pay certain fees. Believe me; it was difficult to raise N15,000 at that time. I just decided that all of my energy let me use it into using my talent to feed myself.”

However, the new found fame came with a price as revealed by her guardian, Mark Angel. According to him, some teachers started giving the young girl preferential treatment in class and it affected her studies. Also, travelling around the world had an effect on her education.

This came shortly after Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani, shaded Tiwa in her own version of Kizz Daniel's F*ck You Challenge and other female musicians such as Sheyi Shay showed support.

This led to a back and forth on social media with Kimani claiming Tiwa does not want other female singers to shine in the industry.
