Damir Skomina has been named centre referee for next month’s Champions League final which might not augur well for Liverpool.

Six years down the road, the Reds would lose against Besiktas before Skomina handled another defeat against Villarreal.
And the Slovenian was also in the middle as Liverpool were smashed 4-2 by Roma last season, but the Premier League campaigners still progressed on aggregate.
Skomina equally officiated Manchester United's comeback win against Paris Saint-Germain in Paris.
The highly-experienced referee showed stern in awarding a late controversial penalty that Marcus Rashford netted to see Man United progress to the next round.
