Former WCW wrestling star, Silver King, has died at the age of 51 after suffering a heart attack while playing his tried-and-true role of villain in London at the Roundhouse.

In a video that has since surfaced, King can be seen knocked down, squirming on the ground - a common choreograph among wrestlers during matches.

However, a kick to the chest drops him to the ground, with his face planted into the mat - but never gets up.

His opponent then turns him over to have the match ended, but King appears impassive.

It would later be confirmed that the Mexican wrestler had died while in action unknown to both the referee and his opponent.

The WWE said in a statement: "WWE extends its deepest condolences to Silver King's family, friends and fans."
