Paul Merson has claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won't last at Manchester United stressing that the club will go for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Solskjaer has been under serious pressure at Manchester United since the club were sent out of the 2018/19 Champions League by Barcelona.
His pressure entered top gear when Manchester United failed to win their last Premier League encounter which made them to lose the chance of playing in Champions League next term.
Pochettino is a man in demand once more after guiding Spurs to their first-ever Champions League final by inspiring a dramatic win over Ajax in the semi-final.
Merson has now explained that Manchester United chiefs will later kick Ole Gunnar Solksjaer out of the club.
“Mauricio Pochettino has done an unbelievable job at Tottenham and it’s time to show him the money.
“The trouble for Spurs is that you could easily see other clubs coming in for him. They got lucky when Manchester United and Real Madrid looked elsewhere.
“But I’m not convinced it’s going too work out for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at all at Old Trafford. It might not be long before United come knocking for Pochettino again,'' he told Daily Star.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly at loggerhead with Ed Woodward over the future of want away star Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer - with Real Madrid as the potential destination for the midfielder.
