Neymar has been handed a three-match ban by the French Football Federation (FFF) after video clips revealed the Selecao captain punching a fan after PSG defeat in the Coupe de France final in April.
According to Sky Sports report, the Brazilian forward was involved in a quarrel with the fan as he was climbing the stairs to get his runners-up medal at the Stade de France.
The Brazilian star was caught on camera hitting out to a cross-section of the fans in the stands before walking off.
The decision to suspend Neymar was reached by the FFF's disciplinary committee, on Thursday, May 9, but the ban will commence from May 13.
Interestingly, the Ligue 1 champions suffered a 8-9 penalty defeat by Rennes after a 2-2 draw in the final, ending their four consecutive vims of the tournament.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Brazilian football star Neymar appeared to have punched a Rennes' fan on Saturday, April 27, after Paris-Saint-Germain's shocking defeat in the French Cup final.
Paris-Saint-Germain were two goals up in the first half against Rennes, but they squandered the lead as Rennes came back into the game and won on penalties.
And while Neymar was collecting his runners-up medal, an opponent fan seemed to have offered some words to the ex Barcelona star.
With the cameras all around, Neymar suddenly lost his cool and lashed out at the supporter goading him.
