Meghan Markle’s mum reportedly takes £5,000 classes to learn how to care for royal baby

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, welcomed the birth of their baby boy on May 6, 2019.

The news was met with widespread jubilation as friends and well-wishers from all over the world rejoiced with the couple.

It was also revealed by the royal family that the Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, is with the couple at Frogmore Cottage.

According to reports Meghan Markle’s 62-year-old mother, took grandparenting classes that cost £5,000 (N2.3m) to learn how to care for the new born.

The role of grandparents is oftentimes very helpful for first time parents. However, Doria seems to have prepared for the role even more than regular grandparents by taking classes at Los-Angeles based Cradle Company.

According to reports, the company can boast of other A-list clients such as actresses Julia Stiles, Rosamund Pike and Meghan Fox.

The owner of the company reportedly spoke to Daily Mail on the important role of grandparents in a home. Brandi Jordan said: “Some mothers want to forge their own path, and don’t want grandmother to take a strong role in their parenting philosophy; others find strength in grandma and lean on her to encourage, nurture and help them”.

In other news, reported that Nigerians on social media have reacted to the name chosen for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie Harrison.

A number of them were impressed by the uniqueness and rarity attached to them. Others were more interested in knowing the meaning of the names. In essence, a lot of diggings have been made with regards to this.
