Arsenal fans blame Unai Emery for helping Spurs reach historic UCL final

- Tottenham will battle Liverpool in this year's edition of the Champions League final

- Lucas Moura completed an incredible hat-trick against Ajax to help the London side reach the finals

- Arsenal fans have now shifted the blame on Emery for selling Moura to Spurs during his time as PSG manager

A section of Arsenal fans is unhappy with club boss, Unai Emery, after learning that the Spaniard sold Champions League hero, Lucas Moura, to rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Moura netted a stunning hat-trick against Ajax to send Spurs to the Champions League final after completing a sensational comeback against the Dutch side.

The Brazilian forward struck the match winner in the dying moments of the game, as Spurs marched to a memorable 3-2 victory on Wednesday night, May 8, in Amsterdam.

However, despite the celebrations that rocked London in the run-up to the historic comeback, some Arsenal fans were justifiably unhappy after their arch-rivals reached the milestone.

They contend Emery had a hand in Spurs' qualification, having sold Moura to the club during his time as Paris Saint-Germain manager.

One wrote: “Emery sold Lucas to Spurs when he was at PSG #EmeryOut.”

Another noted: “Unai Emery selling Lucas Moura to Spurs, for him to score a Champions League semi final hattrick he truly is the enemy of that football club.”

One added: “Worst season to be an Arsenal fan since I can remember. Pretty sure it was Emery who sold Lucas Moura to Spurs…”

However, on the contrary, one, who is clearly a Spurs fan was gracious enough to thank Emery for doing business with his club.

The Lilywhites will now face off with Liverpool in the finals of the European showpiece for a chance to lift the title.
