Real Madrid goalie Keylor Navas has reportedly turned down a summer transfer move to Premier League side Manchester United as he wants to fight for his place at the Bernabeu.
The Costa Rican international has lost his No1 jersey to Belgian goalie Thibaut Courtois who joined Los Blancos from Chelsea.
According to the report by Independent, Real Madrid chiefs are trying to give Manchester United Keylor Navas plus cash in their attempt to sign Frenchman Paul Pogba.
Paul Pogba has been linked with an exit at Manchester United since the club will not be finishing among the top four teams this season in England.
There are reports that the 2018 World Cup winner wants to play in next season's Champions League and could leave Manchester United.
But Keylor Navas is determined to stay at the Bernabeu and compete with Courtois who has conceded 45 goals in 34 matches for Los Blancos since his summer switch.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Real Madrid will be ending the ongoing campaign in Europe this term without any trophy.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Keylor Navas signed a new contract extension with Real Madrid until 2021 ending all speculations linking him with a move to Arsenal this month.
The 32-year-old has been relegated to the bench since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea last summer.
