Nigerian lady writes open letter to men appreciating their sacrifices

A Nigerian lady identified on Twitter as Maryhanoh decided to show her respect to the men who try their best. The lady has shared a heart-warming open letter to Nigerian men.

In the lengthy post, she sent a note of appreciation to all men who try their hardest to cater for their family and yet never get praised for their actions.

Mary stated that she is sending the letter of appreciation to all men who often feel neglected and under appreciated even when they go through hell just to put food on the table and be there for the family.

Meanwhile, Kelechi Madu, also known as Kaycee Madu, a Nigerian of Igbo extraction, has made history in Canada as he emerged the first Nigerian immigrant to be elected as a member of parliament in the country.

The 45-year-old Nigerian who is a University of Lagos law graduate was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the electoral district of Edmonton Southwest.

"Madu, 45, a Nigerian immigrant, graduated with a bachelor of laws from the University of Lagos. He migrated to Canada in 2005 with his wife who enrolled in postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta," Edmonton Journal reports.
