- Denis Suarez is on the verge of winning up to five titles this season
- The trophies could include the Champions League and the Europa League
- The midfielder joined Arsenal in a season-long loan deal that will expire in the summer
Despite suffering a terrible season-ending injury and enduring a disappointing loan spell with Arsenal, Barcelona loanee Denis Suarez, is on the verge of winning five trophies this season.
The midfielder joined the Gunners in a season-long loan deal in January with a view of making the transfer permanent in the summer.
The Spaniard was brought in to provide cover and potentially replace Aaron Ramsey who is set to join Juventus in the summer.
However, a recurring groin injury has stopped the 25-year-old from living up to his expectations at the Emirates and could now head back to Barcelona at the end of the season.
Be that as it may, Suarez could still end his frustrating season with an incredible five trophies having already plied his trade in Spain and England.
He was part of Barcelona's triumphant Supercopa de Espana campaign in the beginning of the season and did make La Liga appearances for the newly-crowned champions.
He will now be hoping Barcelona prevail in the Champions League to earn the tournament's winners medal having made appearances in the group stages of the competition against Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven.
He also made four appearances for Barcelona in the Copa del Rey - a title that Barcelona will be hoping to lift when they battle Valencia in the finals late May.
Meanwhile, his loan move to the Emirates further saw him feature for the Gunners in the Europa League, and the north London side is now a step away from sealing a place in the competition's finals.
Arsenal will, however, have to see off Valencia to set up a date with the winner between Chelsea and Frankfurt for a chance to lift the European title.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that ex-Man United boss, Jose Mourinho, had revealed his prediction ahead of tonight’s UCL semi-final reverse leg tie between Liverpool and Barcelona at Anfield.
The Portuguese tactician, who is still out of work since quitting Old Trafford mid-December, believed Mohamed Salah's late miss during the clash at Camp Nou could end Jurgen Klopp's side quest to play in back-to-back UCL final next month.
