Manchester United are set for a busy summer transfer window after enduring a woeful campaign this season both in the domestic and European scenes.
The situation at the club could now prompt a massive squad overhaul that would see top United stars leave the club to create room for new signings.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since admitted United fans may have seen the last of a couple of players following their 1-1 draw against Huddersfield that ended their chances of booking a top four place.
Legit.ng now takes a closer look at the Man United players who could be sold in the summer:
1. Alexis Sanchez
The Chilean has failed to live up to his expectations at Old Trafford following his sensational move from Arsenal in January 2018.
The winger has struggled for form at his new home, with his performances failing to justify his massive £500,000-a-week wages.
Manchester United are now understood to be ready to get rid of the ex-Barcelona star for a £13 million pay-off.
2. Paul Pogba
The Frenchman's future at Old Trafford remains under sharp speculation, and has incessantly been linked with a big-money move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Despite appearing to rediscover his form under Solskjaer during the early days of the Norwegian at the helm of affairs at United, Pogba's form has dipped in recent weeks.
Zinedine Zidane is understood to be interested in the midfielder's services, and a move to Madrid seems inevitable for the 25-year-old.
3. Romelu Lukaku
Lukaku has not hid his desire to make a move away from Old Trafford, admitting it would be "a dream move" playing in Serie A
Having dropped in the pecking order at United as Solskjaer prefers Marcus Rashford upfront, it would be unsurprising if the Belgian quits the Red Devils at the end of the season.
4. Ander Herrera
Talks on a possible contract extension for the Spaniard have stalled in recent months and a new deal looks unlikely for Herrera.
French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, are already believed to have agreed a pre-contract deal for the services for the midfielder.
5. Juan Mata
Mata's current deal with United is set to expire at the end of the season and there are no signs of the Spaniard penning a new one.
Barcelona have since joined the race to land him on a free transfer.
6. Matteo Darmian
The Italian defender has failed to nail a starting role at Man United since his arrival at Old Trafford.
The right-back has often played second fiddle to Ashley Young and Diogo Dalot who arrived last summer.
He has made just seven appearances this season and is now set to leave for free at the end of the season.
7. Antonio Valencia
The Man United captain is set to end his illustrious career with the Red Devils at the end of the season.
Having arrived at United from Wigan a decade ago, the Ecuadorian has been a great servant to the Manchester outfit.
He has made just one appearance under Solskjaer due to poor form and recurring injuries.
Having hit 33 and his current deal set to expire in the summer, it is unlikely his stay would be extended.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was said to be considering selling Anthony Martial due to the forward's bad attitude during training sessions.
Martial was impressive at the start of Solskjaer's tenure as manager at Man United, but has experienced a dip in form in recent weeks.
