Man saves N3k every time he feels like taking alcohol, finds N357k after 124 days (photos)

A Nigerian man recently shared his inspiring story with members of the online community in which he disclosed how he was able to control his excessive alcohol drinking habit.

The man identified as @Frankisense who shared his story on popular micro blogging platform, Twitter, divulged that he has been sober for a total number of 124 days.

Even more interesting, he disclosed that he was able to achieve the feat because he made a personal commitment to save the sum of N3000 every time he got the urge to drink.

"Stayed sober for 124 days now. I put N3,000 in my safe box each time I feel like drinking and I have been able to save these up." he said.

Frankisense added that in the total of 124 days that he stayed away from drinking and put away money in his piggy bank, he was able to save the sum of N357k

He said: "So happy I can save approximately N357k from not drinking."

In another tweet, he said he was almost tempted to take out of the money he saved and hit the bar on a drinking spree with friends. He, however, fought the temptation and saved the money back.
