FC Porto shot-stopper Iker Casillas has been discharged from hospital after suffering a heart attack in training.
According to Sky Sports, the Spanish and Real Madrid legend, who was admitted at a medical facility on Wednesday morning, May 1, due to acute myocardial infarction during training at the club's PortoGaia Training Center in Olival
The Portuguese side have now issued a statement that Casillas had been "solved", and the 167-time capped Spain’s La Roja icon was discharged on Monday, May 6, and will celebrate his 38th birthday later this May
Speaking to journalists outside the medical facility, Casillas disclosed he is unsure "what the future holds" for his football career as he insists need to rest "for a couple of weeks or a couple of months".
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that FC Porto shot-stopper, Iker Casillas, is set to quit active football after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday, May 1, during a training season with the Portuguese giants.
According to calciomercato.com report citing TVE, the Real Madrid legend, who is still under medical observation after emergency is not expected to play active football again.
Speaking with the media on Casillas latest condition after coming of danger, one of Porto's doctors- Antonio Corbalan, disclosed that Casillas might not play again.
