A Facebook user has left many people in shock after he reveal what a pastor did to a banker who mistakenly transferred the sum of N2m to his account.
People who dedicate their lives to serving God are often expected to lead an exemplary life for others to emulate. While many religious leaders try to follow this, some however, don't always follow through.
A man identified as Obiechina Smith, has taken to the Facebook platform to reveal how a pastor who account was mistakenly funded with a whooping sum of N2m was yet to return the money despite saying he would.
He wrote: "So a banker friend mistakenly transferred 2m to an unknown account, fortunately for him the owner of the account is a pastor in Abuja . My friend contacted the MOG, he pronounced “I’m a man god, you will get your back” a year after, Pastor is yet to return the money. Now they have reported him to security agencies. What a world."
In a similar story, a civil servant in Delta state, Benson Efeotor’s story, has shown that doing the right things also has rewards. The man who works with the Delta State Ministry of Finance (Project E-Delta) was erroneously paid N53,121,650 by the state government. Rather than keeping the money, Efeotor returned it.
