- Hazard is entering the last leg of his current deal at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea star Eden Hazard appears set to quit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after ‘rejecting’ a young fan’s plea for him to remain at west London.
The Mirror reports that the Belgian playmaker has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer.
At the last count, Real Madrid remain Hazard’s preferred destination, and Sunday's game against Watford could be his last home for the Blues.
Interestingly, Chelsea’s big win over Watford helped the Blues secure Champions League football for next season, Hazard was spotted by fans as he drove home.
The Belgian star stopped his car close to the supporters, and one of them pleaded with him to "stay at Chelsea, stay at Chelsea!”
Hazard only smiled, shook his head as he drove off in a short video clip trending across social media channels.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has urged club chiefs to respect their earlier agreement and allow him complete a switch to Real Madrid this summer.
According to Metro citing UK Sun, Hazard was eager to seal a move to the Los Blancos after last year’s summer World Cup in Russia, but club boss Maurizio Sarri talked him into accepting one more season at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian was keen on leaving the club after the World Cup in 2018 and admitted earlier this season that he had told the Blues of his desire to leave.
