Manchester United fans have taken to social media to express their annoyance following the club's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League after draw against Huddersfield.

The Red Devils' hopes of appearing in Europe for the 2019/2020 season ended on Sunday, May 5, after they were forced to a draw by already relegated Huddersfield Town.

United's failure to get a win in the Premier League encounter means the club cannot finish among the top four teams this season with just a game to go.

In December 2018, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and the Norwegian began his coaching career at Manchester United with impressive results.

Manchester United sent French club Paris-Saint-Germain out of the Champions League before they were also kicked out by Spanish champions Barcelona.

Fans of the Old Trafford club are now of the thoughts that Manchester United chiefs made big mistake to have appointed Solskjaer full time coach on a three-year deal.

Many have however urged Manchester United to make a u turn by sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a space reserved for him at the club's Carrington training ground but the Norwegian is not interested in using the place.

Solskjaer and Sir Alex Ferguson have been in good relationship since the 46-year-old manager took over from Jose Mourinho in December 2018.
