Sahara Reporters is reporting that Nigerian leader President Muhammadu Buhari is on his way back home after a 10-day private visit to the United Kingdom.
The online publisher wrote on Sunday, May 5 that President Buhari's plane left a UK airport just some minutes after noon.
Sahara Reporters wrote on Sunday: "President Muhammadu Buhari has departed London, United Kingdom, for Nigeria after his "private visit" that sources have confirmed was a medical trip.
"His plane, a Boeing 737 Business, left Standsted Airport in London at about 12:20pm."
Legit.ng could not independently confirm the authenticity of the claim as the presidency has not released official statement on Buhari's movement.
However, we can reliably report that the Nigerian leader is expected back in the country today.
If the timing in the report is correct, then President Buhari should be back in the country by Sunday evening. Legit.ng will keep you updated.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported earlier that President Buhari’s 10-day private visit to the United Kingdom will end today, Sunday, May 5.
