A popular Nigerian singer has cried out on social media after one of his followers who appears to be an internet fraudster sent him direct messages for a fraudulent transaction.
The singer identified as David Adeleke who is popularly known by his stage name Davido, shared a screenshot of a message sent to him in his direct message channel on Instagram.
In the screenshot shared, a user whose identity was not revealed sent a series of texts to the superstar singer, in which he revealed that he knows of a woman who is a doctor, and is worth several millions of dollars.
He went on to add that he has been trying to extort the woman but she has not yielded.
Responding to the messages, the Assurance crooner posed a question at the social media user in which he asked if he was an internet fraudster.
"Am I a yahoo boy?" he queried.
