Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has indicated his desire to stay at the club, insisting he is happy at North London, despite being repeatedly linked with a move from the Emirates.

His situation threw his future with the north London club into sharp speculation with reports in the UK hinting at a possible departure at the summer.

His exit would deal Emery a huge blow as it could leave his midfield completely depleted having already lost Aaron Ramsey to Serie A Champions Juventus.

However, Ozil has come out to affirm his determination to see out his bumper contract with Arsenal, with two years left on his current deal.

The play-maker told SkySports: “Absolutely. I’ve got two more years on my contract. I don’t know after that but I’ve got two years left.''

“I’ve got some years in front of me. It’s down to the club as well of course, not only in my hands. But I’ve got two years left and what happens after that I don’t know."

Earlier, previously reported that Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, had penned an emotional farewell message to club fans ahead of his imminent departure to Serie A Champions, Juventus.
