Lionel Messi must not be compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, claims ex-Man City star and current Olympique Marseille forward, Mario Balotelli after watching the Argentine superstar score his 600th career goal for Barcelona.

The La Liga champions thrashed Liverpool 3-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final clash on May 1, at Camp Nou, with goals from Luis Suarez and Messi to hand the Blaugrana a three-goal advantage ahead of the reverse tie at Anfield next week.

Reacting moment after watching the game, the 28-year-old Balotelli took to Instagram to react on Messi’s milestone after his brace helped Barcelona beat his former club, Liverpool.

"For the good of football, please don't compare him to Juventus' Number 7 again,” stressed the Italian, who was referring to Messi's arch-rival, Ronaldo.

Interestingly, the 31-year-old Messi, who netted twice on the night against Liverpool, has now taken his UCL goal tally to 12 goals this campaign.
