Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, has penned an emotional farewell message to club fans ahead of his imminent departure to Serie A Champions Juventus.
Ramsey confirmed he had played his last game for Arsenal after sustaining a season-ending hamstring injury during his side's Europa League clash against Napoli.
The 28-year old will therefore not be able to play for the north London side again, thereby ending his 11-year career with the Gunners.
The Welshman has already agreed a four-year deal with Juventus that will see him move to the Turin-based club in the summer.
In a trio of pictures shared on Instagram, Ramsey admitted he was disappointed he will not be able to play for Arsenal again despite his desire to give his all to the last minute.
He also thanked fans for their support through the years, reminiscing about his journey with Arsenal where he started off as a youthful player.
He said: "I am really disappointed not to play until the end and give everything for the club while I am still an Arsenal player.''
"Unfortunately it’s out of my hands but I wanted to say thank you to the fans for your support.I was a spotty young kid coming in and I’m leaving a man, married, father of three boys and full of pride and good memories that I will treasure.''
