- He is set to join Juventus at the end of the season having agreed a deal with the Serie A Champions
Arsenal boss, Unai Emery, has confirmed star midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, has played his final match for the Gunners.
Ramsey will now miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury sustained during Arsenal's Europa League clash against Napoli.
The injury also brings an end to the Welshman's 11-year career with the Gunners as he is set to join Juventus in the summer.
The 28-year old signed a pre-contract deal with the Serie A Champions in February and will complete the move at the end of the season.
His imminent departure has seen Emery pay a class tribute to Ramsey, who has been an integral squad member for the Emirates outfit.
The Spaniard admitted the north London club will miss the services of the Welshman, adding that the midfieder's heart is red in reference to Ramsey's passionate love for Arsenal.
He said: "He (Ramsey) was in a good moment when he took this injury. I had a good experience with him, he transmitted his energy and his heart is red like Arsenal.''
"Some other players might stop fighting – but he loves this club so he stayed 100 per cent. He has a great mentality. I will miss him a lot – we have good memories.''
Ramsey signed for Arsenal in 2008 from Cardiff City by then boss, Arsene Wenger, and has enjoyed an illustrious career with the Gunners.
His exit will see Arsenal enter the market in search of his replacement.
