Aaron Ramsey's Arsenal career is over after a hamstring injury ensured the Welshman is out of the rest of the campaign
According to the BBC, the 28-year-old Ramsey was substituted after 34 minutes, during Arsenal’s Europa League quarter-final reverse fixture at Napoli.
However, the midfielder was upbeat he will stage a comeback a play a part before the end of the Premier League season or a possible Europa League final, but has filled to recover in god time.
Ramsey is now expected to quit Arsenal at the end of June his contract expires and move to Serie A champions Juventus as a free agent.
In a statement on Wednesday, May 1, Arsenal revealed Ramsey will continue to "receive treatment and further assessment” even as they confirmed he will play no role in Thursday's Europa League semi-final first leg against Valencia.
The Welshman joined Arsenal in 2008 from Cardiff City and is presently the Emirate side’s longest-serving squad member.
Interestingly, Ramsey was in discussion over a possible extension, but Arsenal decided to discontinue with the in September citing football and financial reasons.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported Denis Suarez confirmed he will not be able to feature for Arsenal for the rest of the season due to a recurring groin injury.
Suarez has failed to nail a starting role at the Emirates since completing his season-long loan move from Barcelona in January.
His last appearance for the Gunners was during Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester United in March, with the midfielder coming off the bench at the time.
