We hear of people converting from one religion to another but it is not every day one hears a dedicated Christian denouncing the faith and choosing the path of atheism.
A Twitter user identified as Dave Gass is one in many who after being a devout Christian for 40 years and a pastor for 20 years has decided that the religion is a hoax and only a means to control people and culture and not an actual direct path to God or a spiritual being.
In a series of posts, the former evangelist explained why he is taking this position and choosing to chase genuine love and authenticity at age 40. He first talked about his marriage who he revealed was in shamables for many years and remained so even after prayers and counselling.
Gass stated that in all his years of belief, he has never for once had any spiritual encounter or experience and yet he remained true to his faith and the religion.
He came to the conclusion that Christianity was just means to an end for some powerful people and has chosen to abandon his faith after seeing first hand that nothing actually works when one is imbibed in Christianity.

Meanwhile, just recently, Bishop Paul Githinj talked about offering received in the church.
According to the bishop, some of the money taken to the church comes from prostitutes, brothel keepers, thugs and thieves.
Speaking further, he added that church offering should be sanctified before use. He then advised such people who are engaged in such corrupt practices to come up to the altar for prayers.
