A Nigerian writer has taken to social media to raise an interest topic about religion and God. The writer identified as Okemzuruoke had expressed her thoughts about how people with disabilities were treated in the Bible.
The woman had shared her opinion on Twitter. She expressed that one day she would like to discuss how people with disabilities were treated.
According to her, God was discriminatory towards people who had disabilities. She stated that people with eye defects, hunchbacks, dwarfism and so on were banned from coming near a temple.
Okemzuruoke also noted that they were also banned from making sacrifices to God. The writer explained these things happened to prevented them from desecrating God's sanctuary.
The writer's thoughts got the reaction of many on Twitter, and they also shared what they believed to be true about the particular topic.

Some expressed that her tweet has made them question if religion his man made while others noted that it was the people at the time who made the decisions, claiming it was God's decision.
Others stated that discrimination of people with disabilities was a practice in the old testament.
