Tottenham vs Ajax will take centre stage on Tuesday, April 30, and ahead of the game an Ajax fan has done something bizarre to a Spurs fan in an image that has gone viral.
According to a UK Sun report, the picture in question shows a Tottenham fan apparently 'asleep' on a bench ahead of their Champions League semi-final clash.
The Ajax fan seemed to have changed the Spurs fan's shirt into an Ajax kit using red marker pen
Indeed, the picture goes a long way to show that Ajax fans are growing in confidence in the Champions League, after defeating Real Madrid and Juventus.
The Dutch fan appeared to have carried out his mischievous deed at the sight of the Tottenham supporter after fallen asleep alone on a bench.
And luckily, he was fortunate to get a permanent red marker to work on the Tottenham jersey worn by the exposed Spurs fan.
He crossed out the cockerel on Tottenham badge and changed the club’s sponsors' logo from AIA to Ajax.
The image was uploaded on social media platforms that have attracted thousands of views- some of whom believe it is genuine.
However, others claim it is a PR stunt, with suggestions that a Dutch bookmaker firm was behind its creation.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes former club Man United along with Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal’s form look 'stupid' and 'ridiculous' when compared with rivals Man City and Liverpool.
According to UK Sun report, City and Liverpool are expected to end the campaign with mid-90 point mark to leave a huge gap between themselves and their equally ambitious rivals.
Before United's clash with Chelsea, only one of the top-four chasers managed to win in their previous two matches, with Tottenham needing a late goal at home to beat Brighton.
