- Howard believes former teammate Solskjaer will do well with United next summer
Tim Howard has made his wishes known about who he wants to win the Premier League title between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Liverpool are just a point behind City with two games left to play in what is regarded as the closest titles race in recent times.
Howard, who spent most of his playing years with Liverpool's fiercest rivals Man United and Everton, admitted that he wants Pep Guardiola's side to emerge champions.
"I hope Liverpool never win a title while I'm still breathing," he told CNN.
"We have two teams in the form that they're both in. It'll come down to the wire.
"If no one has a slip up, then City wins."
The 40-year-old spent four seasons with Manchester United, where he played alongside current United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Howard has come in strong defence of Solskjaer who is currently on a string of poor results, saying things will come around in his favour in the next summer.
