The church is a place of worship for Christians, it is also where sinners go to ask for forgiveness or get closer to God.
Dropping offerings in church is a practice that has been going on for years. Many people drop a token in the offering basket as a form of charity. However a man of God, Bishop Paul Githinj, has shared his opinion on what should be done with offering money.
According to the bishop, some of the money taken to the church comes from prostitutes, brothel keepers, thugs and thieves. Speaking further, he added that church offering should be sanctified before use.
He then advised such people who are engaged in such corrupt practices to come up to the altar for prayers.
