Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, has told his former club to forget a top four finish at the end of the season after suffering back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

The Gunners lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace at the Emirates, before going 3-0 down against Leicester City on Sunday, April 28, to have their hopes of sealing a top four place dampened.

They currently sit fifth with 66 points, two behind fourth-placed Chelsea who cemented the spot after collecting a vital point at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Parlour now believes his former side risk finishing out of the top four, with the prospect of missing out on Champions League football for the second season in a row.

He said: ''Their away form has been horrendous and they just haven’t been at the races in their last three games,"

“I looked at the games against Crystal Palace, Wolves and then Leicester away – four points from nine is all they needed to possibly be in the top four, but how many did they get? None."
