It was excitement galore recently in Anambra state when two deaf people got married to each other.
Legit.ng gathered that the hearing-impaired couple, Mr Ezemba Ndubueze and Udousoro Comfort got tied together in holy matrimony at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enugwu Nanka in Orumba north local government area of the state.
The event had in attendance the governor of the state, Willie Obiano, who was ably represented by the Senior Special Assistant on disability matters Barr. Chuks Ezewuzie. The governor gave his assurance at the wedding, saying his administration will continue to give priority to persons living with disabilities in the state.

The special wedding had in attendance members of the Joint National Association of Persons Living with Disabilities, government officials, relatives, friends and well wishers.
The governor, during his speech, laid emphasis on the well-being of persons living with disabilities, pointing out that the passage of the Disability Rights Act in Anambra state would ensure that persons with disabilities enjoy all the benefits other normal individuals are enjoying.
He further charged them to love each other as well as pray together at all times to have a peaceful, successful and fruitful union.
The couple Mr and Mrs Ndubueze through sign communication appreciated God for making the day a reality, and thanked Governor Willie Obiano as well as those that attended the wedding, asking God to bless them all.
In other news, Legit.ng reported that a deaf and dumb couple recently tied the knot in Akwa Ibom.
They say love is a universal language, newly-wed couple, Otu and Nseobong have proven just that after they celebrated their love in the presence of family and friends in a beautiful wedding ceremony.
Interestingly, the couple are speech and hearing impaired but their disability only brought them closer as they walked down the aisle in their hometown. Photos from the special ceremony have been making waves on the internet with everyone congratulating the adorable couple.
