The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sango was on April 23, suspended alongside his deputy, Amos Gombi over allegations of misappropriation of campaign funds among others.
Chris Hassan, the state’s acting chairman of the party, disclosed this at a stakeholders meeting on Monday April 29, in Jos.
Hassan named members of the committee to include – Sunday Panwal, (chairman), Ventim Ntem, Dayabu Dauda, Auwal Haruna, Sylvia Miri, Moses Sule and Panson Dagyat (secretary).
Speaking after the meeting, senator-elect, Istifanus Gyang, described it as a family affair.
“I and other elected members of the National Assembly under the party attended the meeting to affirm the suspension of the chairman,” he said.
