A 55-year-old woman from Baltimore, Dr Tinina Cade, has given birth to her own triplet grandchildren after her daughter was unable to give birth, making her the oldest woman to deliver grand-triplets.
MirrorUK reports that Dr Cade's daughter, Dr Camille Hammond who is 29 years of age had tried giving birth to no avail for years. This made Dr Cade to act as a surrogate for her daughter.
Dr Cade was implanted with three embryos made from her daughter’s eggs and her son-in-law's sperm - and all three were successful in 2004.
The triplets: two boys, Kai and Aaron, and a girl, Simone are now 14 years of age.
Praising her old mum, the now 44-year-old mum of 3 who suffers from endometriosis, which makes it difficult to become pregnant, said "My mum is my hero.''

Dr Hammond now helps families with fertility issues with her non-profit organisation named after her mother.
The pregnancy was hard on Dr Cade, who is now 69. She was said to have used wheelchair at a point due to the size of the baby bump.Dr Cade however revealed that after the CS which brought about the children, she didn't confuse them for her own kids. She counts it as part of the roles of being a loving parent.
