Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is presently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the presidential villa, Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting started with the arrival of the vice president to the council chamber of the villa by 11:01am, Daily Trust reports.
In attendance are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, head of service of the federation Winifred Oyo-Ita, and 20 other ministers before journalists were excused from the chamber.
It should be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari who presided over last week’s FEC has left for Borno state where he will commission some developmental projects, especially in the sectors of education, health care and roads. Read more:
Buhari will later in the day after leaving Maiduguri proceed to the United Kingdom on a private visit.
According to a statement by Femi Adesina, the special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Buhari is expected to return to the country on May 5.
